Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as an Electrophysiology Technologist or related radiology/cardiac cath lab role
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES or RCIS) and/or Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) required
• ARRT certification and VA state license required if applicable
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology and invasive cardiac procedures
• Proficiency operating and calibrating specialized EP and radiology equipment
• Ability to interpret ECGs and other cardiac data and monitor complex arrhythmia mapping
• Current flu vaccination required during flu season
• Must provide at least two current professional references
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and electrophysiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic EP procedures
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced EP lab and radiology equipment
• Monitor, record, and interpret patient data including ECGs, intracardiac signals, and mapping data
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and comfort throughout procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—cardiology, nursing, and lab staff—to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation, procedural logs, and compliance with regulatory standards
