Description
American Traveler is seeking a Rad Tech for an Interventional Radiology position requiring 2-3 years of IR experience including neuro (acute stroke) and vascular procedures, with on-call responsibilities and a MA state license.
Details
- Interventional Radiology (IR) department setting
- Day shift schedule with a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- On-call required for nights, weekends, and one major holiday
- 30-minute callback time required; call rooms are available upon request
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- 2-3 years of IR experience, including neuro (acute stroke), trauma, and vascular procedures
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active MA state license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS and ACLS required
- Level I Trauma and Cath Lab experience preferred
- Candidates must reside 30 or more miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including neuro/acute stroke interventions, trauma cases, and vascular procedures
- 2 professional references required for consideration — at least one must be from a manager-level or above (titles listed as 'supervisor' are not accepted); each reference must include a performance evaluation
- One reference must be dated within the past 12 months; the second may be within the past 3 years
- At least one reference preferably from a previous travel or temporary assignment; references from other travelers are not accepted
- A copy of a driver's license is required for consideration
