Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment at an acute care Level II Trauma hospital, with 4x10-hour day shifts and on-call requirements including STEMI response.
Details
- Work in a Cath Lab/IR setting at a 360-bed acute care Level II Trauma hospital
- Caseload of 8–12 cases
- 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call required, averaging approximately 7–10 days per month
- STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation
- One full weekend of call required per month
- No floating between units required
- Charting via Cerner and McKesson
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT certification required, or RCIS with IR experience
- MD state license required if applicable
- IR experience required if holding RCIS credential
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
- This facility has a strict no-tobacco/nicotine policy and tests for nicotine and cotinine — candidates who use any form of nicotine (cigarettes, vapes, patches, gum, etc.) will not be eligible for this position
- Scrubs are provided
- Parking is available at no cost to the traveler with a facility badge
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
