Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week contract in Olathe, KS, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab and/or IR experience with the ability to float to the EP Lab.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting with floating requirements to Cath/IR and EP Lab
- Experience with pacemakers is required for this role
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, with one day off during the week
- Shift hours are 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; occasional late stays may be required to finish cases
- Weekday on-call: 1–2 shifts per week from 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend on-call: every 3rd or 4th weekend
- Holiday coverage is based on unit needs
- EMR is Epic
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and/or IR experience required; 2 years of Cath/IR and EP experience preferred
- RNs with Cath/IR scrub experience will be considered for this role
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS required
- Ability to float to EP Lab required
- Experience with pacemakers required
- 2 references required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- This is a nicotine-free facility
- Orientation consists of a 2-day health system orientation on Monday and Tuesday of the first week, followed by a facility-specific orientation on Wednesday
- Local and travel candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate
- Candidates should be aware that RTO requests during the World Cup period (June 11 – July 19) may not be approved due to unit staffing needs
