Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac cath lab setting requiring a minimum of 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work in a Level 3 cardiac cath lab on the main hospital campus
- Facility includes 5 cardiac cath labs and 2 EP labs
- High-acuity patient population with approximately 20 patients seen per day across all labs
- Procedures include cardiac catheterization, peripheral angiography, EP studies (ablations, pacemaker device implants, ICD insertions), and structural heart interventions (Watchman, TAVR, MitraClip)
- MacLab experience preferred
- Epic EMR required
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 1 mandatory call shift per week required
- Every fourth weekend call required, running from 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience required
- EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Licensed Radiology Technologist — license required if applicable
- Current BLS required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing advanced cardiac cath, peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantations
- Provides peri-procedural patient care and education
- Assists cardiologists and other specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintains procedure records and documentation
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted for this Radiology position
