Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week assignment in an invasive cardiology unit performing complex cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
Details
- Invasive cardiology unit comprised of 4 dedicated cardiac catheterization labs, 2 dedicated electrophysiology labs, and 23 prep/recovery bays
- Unit performs over 6,000 procedures per year, including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, structural heart procedures (TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant and explant, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy
- Day shifts, 4x10 hours, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM; must be available to stay until the last patient is cared for
- Weekend availability required on an as-needed basis
- Call may be required
- Floating required on an as-needed basis
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab / EP experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates undergo a clinical pre-screening review prior to manager consideration; a manager interview is required
- Position may involve caring for COVID-positive patients
- This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
- No holiday coverage required
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off for the duration of the assignment; all time off requests must be submitted upfront
