Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a 4x10 day shift contract in a cardiac cath lab setting.
Details
- Cardiac cath lab unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
- Preferred procedures include Watchman, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR
- Preferred equipment and system experience includes Cerner, ACIST, acute monitoring, and room circulation
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call requirement of 1–2 weeknight call shifts (Monday–Friday) per week and one 24-hour weekend call shift per month
- Local rate applies for candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
- At least one prior travel assignment required
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- RCIS or ARRT certification required; MD State License required if applicable
- Proficiency in interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
- Must be able to perform effectively in a high-paced environment
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
