Description

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist at Carle Health, you will perform EEG and related neurodiagnostic studies to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of neurologic conditions. You’ll prepare and monitor patients, operate and troubleshoot advanced neurodiagnostic equipment, and accurately document findings in the medical record. Perform routine and specialized EEG and other neurodiagnostic studies following established protocols
Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout testing
Apply and remove electrodes, calibrate and troubleshoot neurodiagnostic equipment
Recognize and document clinically significant events and artifacts in recordings
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with neurologists, nurses, and other care team members to support diagnosis and treatment
Follow infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards
Participate in continuing education and competency assessments to maintain skills
EEG recording and interpretation
