- IONM Technologist - CNIM
Description
We are seeking a skilled IONM Technologist (CNIM) to join our intraoperative monitoring team serving the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. Founded and run entirely by fellow technologists, we understand the challenges of this field and what a technologist needs to be successful - all company employees cover cases, including management. In this role, you will provide critical neurophysiological monitoring services to local hospitals, supporting orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgery teams to safeguard patient neurological health.
This position required no significant travel outside of the area. On-call responsibilities are limited, call is rotated on a weekly basis and each tech is only on call roughly 4 to 5 times per year, call cases are generously compensated. Typical weekly schedule is three to four days per week, 25-30 hours, aside from the end-of-year rush. Turnover is extremely low in this company, many employees have worked together for 10+ years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform real-time intraoperative monitoring (SSEP, MEP, EMG, EEG, BAER) at contracted DFW-area facilities, mostly on the west side of the area.
- Partner with the surgical team and oversight physicians to report real-time data changes.
- Document surgical events and maintain technical monitoring equipment.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule approximately four weeks out of the year.
Qualifications:
- CNIM certification is required.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse surgical teams.
- Ability to handle high-stress operating room environments independently.
- Reliability is a key requirement for this position.
