Description
St. David's South Austin Medical Center, a leader in comprehensive healthcare services, is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist to join our renowned heart care team. The EP Lab Technologist will work closely with cardiologists to perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Assist physicians in complex procedures like ablations, device implants, and electrophysiology studies
Monitor patient's physiological status and provide appropriate clinical support
Document procedural steps and clinical data accurately
Ensure all relevant safety protocols and hygiene standards are maintained
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide integrated patient care
Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities
Proficient in the use of electrophysiology technology
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
Excellent collaborative and communication skills
