Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / CV Tech for a travel assignment at a Level I Trauma, Magnet teaching hospital, requiring experience in Cath Lab and/or Angio with scrub proficiency across multiple service lines.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a Cardiovascular Tech (CV Tech) unit
- Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital with 554 staffed beds
- Ideal candidates have experience in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience; candidates with scrub experience across all service lines (Cardiac, Neuro, etc.) will also be considered
- Charting performed in Epic
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call requirement of approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3 to 4 weeks
- Floating within the facility and across the health system is expected; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- 13-week minimum contract length
Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS certifications required
- Oregon state license (OBMI) required if applicable
- Scrub experience in Cath Lab, Angio, and/or other service lines such as Cardiac and Neuro
- COVID vaccination required — no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided for this position
- Parking is free in any unrestricted space
- All required education assigned by the facility must be completed within one week of starting the assignment
- No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment; maximum of 7 days of RTO for the contract
- Mandatory low-census cancellations may occur up to one shift per two-week pay period; cancellations must be called no later than 1.5 hours before shift start
- At least one reference is required for consideration
