Norwalk and Danbury, Connecticut
Northwell/Nuvance Health is seeking a full time BE/BC Neurologist to join our dynamic and growing Neurosciences program at our outpatient practices located in Norwalk and Danbury Connecticut (just 1 hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County).
The Neurology Division is part of a comprehensive neurosciences program that spans our hospital system and includes Neurosurgery, Interventional Neuroradiology, and rehabilitation. We have dedicated neurohospitalist coverage, tele stroke support during non-business hours, and a strong IM hospitalist and critical care team for hospitalized patients. It is an accredited with ample opportunities to participate in teaching, research, and clinical trials. Candidate Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications and experience:
- M.D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or equivalent)
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
- Subspecialty training is desired but not a prerequisite.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of Connecticut

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Medicine and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents with convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine.
Danbury, Connecticut, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, is about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the city of Danbury enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide variety of venues for four season outdoor and indoor recreational activities. Salary Range:
$300,000 - $400,000 annually
