The Harborview Medical Center – EEG Lab has an outstanding opportunity for an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist.
WORK SCHEDULE

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The EEG Lab is an accredited lab and an essential part of the Level 4 Surgical Epilepsy Center and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. In the Harborview EEG Lab we perform a variety of tests including routine EEG, continuous EEG, Ambulatory EEG, Stereo EEG, Somatosensory Evoked Potentials, Visual Evoked Potentials, Brain stem Auditory Evoked Potentials, and Corticography.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Under direct supervision, the Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist performs tests, monitoring, and examination duties
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform infrequent complex testing protocols under direct supervision.
- Perform all SSEP modalities for cortical mapping in both intra and extra operative settings for training and learning purposes under direct supervision
- Perform diagnostic tests under direct supervision, including: infant and pediatric EEGs, setup and review for Dense Array, inpatient and outpatient testing
- Operate imaging equipment for assigned procedures, under direct supervision of the technologist, according to departmental procedures
- Maintain transport equipment; ensure equipment is clean, in good working order, and prepared for transport use
- Set up exam rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready
- Inventory supplies and linens. Restock rooms as needed, restock lab or EEG portable equipment
- As requested by END Tech Supervisor, audit own and other’s EEGs, providing results in a timely manner
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Successful completion of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
